Positive: I thoroughly enjoyed the room, it was well designed and tasteful. The bedding was comfortable and my spouse loved the shower. Very clean and the view over the riverwalk was decent. I do hope that the city of San Antonio will continue renovating and building within this area of downtown SA. It was not too far of an uber or scooter ride to the River Center and I spent my afternoon shopping and eating away, hitched a ride back to the hotel room via uber and got ready for a 90luxurious date with my handsome spouse during the late hours of the evening.
Negative: I did not like the pasta at the restaurant, I should have listened to the staff when they mentioned how the seafood and steaks were much better in comparison. The Espresso Martini was not to my liking, as it was far too sweet and tasted like I was drinking a sweet perfume. Liquor 43 or Mr.Black is always an elite choice in concocting the perfect espresso martini in comparison to whatever else was being used. I enjoy a classic espresso martini, shaken and strained to where the top of the glass has a thin layer of foam. The German chocolate cake martini was however, delicious and the Filet Mignon melted in our mouths, my poor spouse was sharing his meal with me haha, because it was that good! Bread service was also good, however, I would like to recommend a slight increase to the portion size of the olive oil dip. It was delicious, but by the time I wanted to ask for more, the main course was already served and we were chowing down like it was our last meal. Overall, an extremely peaceful, romantic experience and a hotel that I would love to visit again in the near future.
Summary: Romantic, perfect weekend get away with your lover and a beautifully maintained property.

Negative: The HVAC unit noise and the valet is too expensive when is not a centric hotel. Self parking must be available as it was in the past. Pool could be heated.
